ICOLIFEMED 2026
In recent decades, increasing evidence has highlighted the pivotal role of lifestyle factors - such as nutrition, physical activity, and stress management - in the prevention and management of chronic diseases. Lifestyle medicine has emerged in response, promoting behavior change to improve individual and population health. Concurrently, there is renewed global interest in traditional and natural medicine, which emphasizes holistic approaches including mind-body therapies and herbal interventions.
Recognizing the potential synergy between these disciplines, the 3rd International Conference on Lifestyle Diseases and Natural Medicine (ICOLIFEMED) will be held from November 30 - December 3, 2026 at Universitas Prima Indonesia, Medan, Indonesia.
With the theme "Empowering Health through Innovation, Integration, and Community Engagement," ICOLIFEMED 2026 aims to bring together researchers, clinicians, practitioners, policymakers, academics, students, and other stakeholders to explore evidence-based strategies, encourage knowledge exchange, and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration in lifestyle medicine, natural medicine, and public health.
The conference will welcome participants and presenters from Indonesia and international partner institutions across Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore, with a detailed target audience of approximately 3,100 participants.
CONFERENCE AT A GLANCE
CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite researchers, academics, clinicians, healthcare professionals, policymakers, students, and practitioners to submit full-length, high-quality, and original papers to the 3rd International Conference on Lifestyle Diseases and Natural Medicine (ICOLIFEMED 2026).
The conference will be held from November 30 - December 3, 2026 at the Main Campus of Universitas Prima Indonesia, Jl. Sampul No. 3, Ayahanda, Medan, Indonesia.
All contributed papers will be reviewed by two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Upon acceptance, authors will be notified, incorporate reviewers' suggested corrections, and submit the revised manuscript as a camera-ready submission.
The conference will feature keynote and invited lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, research and innovation exhibitions, networking activities, conference dinners, and field activities at Lake Toba and Samosir Island.
SCIENTIFIC TRACKS
Track 1. Lifestyle Diseases and Preventive Health Innovations
Focuses on cutting-edge research and practical innovations in lifestyle interventions - nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management - for preventing and managing chronic diseases in clinical and community settings.
Track 2. Natural and Integrative Medicine in Modern Healthcare
Explores evidence-based use of natural products, traditional therapies, and integrative approaches, highlighting their mechanisms, safety, and synergy with modern medicine for holistic and personalized patient care.
Track 3. Maternal, Child, and Family Health in Disease Prevention
Addresses preventive and therapeutic strategies targeting maternal, child, and family health through lifestyle and natural medicine approaches, with an emphasis on early intervention, nutrition, and wellbeing.
Track 4. Health Systems, Policy, and Community Empowerment
Examines policies, system-level strategies, and community-based initiatives to integrate holistic health models, enhance accessibility, and empower populations in managing lifestyle-related and chronic health conditions.
